Salah satu dari empat metode fabrikasi lembaran logam adalah pemotongan. Teknik pemotongan lembaran logam yang paling umum adalah pemotongan dengan laser dan jet air.<\/p>\n

Pemotongan laser adalah proses termal yang memanfaatkan sinar cahaya berdaya tinggi (yaitu, pemotong laser), yang melelehkan material secara terpisah. Pemotongan laser efisien dalam pembuatan lembaran logam industri yang presisi, dan memiliki konsumsi energi yang rendah meskipun mungkin sulit untuk menembus lembaran logam yang lebih tebal atau kecil.<\/p>\n

Apa yang dimaksud dengan pemotongan jet air?<\/em><\/h3>\n

Pemotongan jet air menggunakan semburan air bertekanan tinggi yang dikeluarkan dari nosel kecil sebagai pemotong. Air dapat dicampur dengan bahan abrasif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan akurasi pemotongan dengan toleransi +\/- 0,2 mm. Pemotongan jet air dapat dilakukan untuk lembaran logam yang tebal dan memiliki titik leleh rendah karena tidak menghasilkan panas yang akan melelehkan lembaran logam.<\/p>\n

Pemotongan laser vs. Pemotongan jet air<\/em><\/h3>\n

Pemotongan laser lima kali lebih presisi daripada pemotongan jet air. Tidak hanya mampu memotong tetapi juga dapat mengukir tanda perakitan pada lembaran logam. Dalam industri fabrikasi lembaran logam, celah pemotongan minimum pemotongan laser adalah sekitar 0,1 mm, sedangkan pemotongan jet air adalah 0,5 mm.<\/p>\n

Pemotongan jet air lebih efisien dalam pemesinan kasar, memotong lembaran logam tebal, sedangkan pemotongan laser adalah pemesinan yang lebih presisi. Pemotongan jet air memungkinkan pemotongan lembaran logam yang lebih tebal hingga 25-30cm, sedangkan pemotongan laser hanya memungkinkan ketebalan yang jauh lebih kecil. Ketebalan maksimum yang dapat dilakukan oleh pemotongan laser hanya 6,07 mm untuk baja lembaran, diikuti oleh aluminium dan baja lembaran galvanis.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
